The Nye County Sheriff released a statement regarding Lamar Odom’s health scare, revealing that his 6’10” frame was too large to be airlifted to the hospital, so he was taken via ambulance. Sheriff’s detectives also conducted an investigation, but the findings were not made public.
Sources close to Lamar also revealed to TMZ that Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Kris Jenner headed to the hospital to be by Lamar’s side. The former Lakers star is reportedly breathing with assistance of machines as he’s listed in critical condition.
Lamar Odom is reportedly fighting for his life after being found unconscious at Dennis Hof’s famous brothel, Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada.
According to TMZ, Lamar was allegedly taking an herbal substitute for Viagra while partying with girls at the Ranch since Saturday. Hof told the website that one of the girls went to check on Odom on Tuesday (October 13), and found him unconscious with a “mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth.”
The former NBA star was first taken to Pahrump hospital, where he was intubated, but Odom was later airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital for further treatment. Sources close to the athlete say his current situation is “not good.”
Lamar, who has battle substance abuse in the past, recently spoke to TMZ about how his life has took a turn for the worse since splitting with Khloe Kardashian. You can check out the video above.
